AARON SPEAKS ON DISASTER PLANNING
On July 24, 2012 Bill Aaron in his capacity as Chairman of the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce spoke to over 200 attendees from around the country on the subject of "How the Public and Private Sectors Should Effectively Respond to Katrina-like Disasters". The speech was given at a conference entitled "Gulf Coast: Preparing For Extreme Weather" held at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel. The two day conference (July 24-25, 2012) was sponsored by RenaissanceRe Risk Sciences Foundation, Inc, Entergy, WeatherPredict Consulting, Inc, National Wildlife Federation, American Wetlands Federation and the University of New Orleans.
